The data controller is Associazione Algopolio, promoter of the “Google Class Action” project, with registered office in Milan (MI), Via del Vivaio 7, contact email: algopolio@protonmail.com.

2. Purpose of the processing

The website googleclassaction.it (or equivalent domain) is an information platform dedicated to the public communication of the ongoing class action lawsuit against Google.
The data collected is processed exclusively for:

  • manage contact and information requests from journalists, institutions, or citizens;

  • provide updates on the progress of the case and related public documents;

  • ensure the technical functioning and security of the site.

No judicial, sensitive, or personal data relating to the individuals involved in the case is collected.
There is no membership form or collection of new individual reports.

3. Type of data collected

The site may process:

  • personal and contact details (name, email, and any professional qualifications, if provided by the user via form or email);

  • Technical navigation data (IP address, anonymized technical and analytical cookies).
    The voluntary sending of communications to the Data Controller's address entails the acquisition of the data necessary to manage the response.

  • Legitimate interest of the Data Controller in the management and security of the site (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f GDPR).

Data submitted voluntarily will be retained for a maximum of 12 months, exclusively for the purposes of responding and archiving communications.
Technical logs are retained for 30 days for IT security purposes.

6. Communication of data

The data may be processed by the site's technical suppliers (hosting providers, webmasters, IT consultants) who are appointed and bound by confidentiality.
They will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

The user can request at any time:
